Synopsis – A man picked randomly out of a crowd is made the target of CIA surveillance and pursuit. A classic spy vs. spy scenario.
Tom Hanks – Plays the likable, average “Joe”, whom is chosen unbeknownst to him.
Co-stars – Dabney Coleman, Edward Herrmann, Carrie Fisher, Lori Singer & James Belushi.
Best Parts – James Belushi going crazy. Dabney Coleman’s entire performance, Tom’s biking skills. “coka- a- een! Coka- a – een!”
Worst Parts– Lori Singer.
Best Hanks Acting – When he bites into the nuts at the airport and breaks his tooth, when he’s teaching violin.
Best Line(s) – “No mom! I’m not watching TV! I’m practicin’… I’m practicin’!” “That’s the trouble with surveillance, you don’t get to see nothin” “What are the odds of the Russians attacking on a Thursday night?! Come On!”

Overall – It’s light and at times clever. It’s ridiculous with a touch of charm to it. Not one of my favorites, but DEFINITELY not one of my least favorites. (74 = C)

EXCEPTIONAL – (A+) 95 – 100
EXCELLENT – (A) 90-94
GOOD – (B) 80 – 89
AVERAGE – (C) 70-79
NOT A FAVORITE  – (D) 60 – 69
SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE – (F) – 50 – 59
